If you follow Derek or anyone on PLM you probably have downloaded, or heard of Derek's new Pretty Lights album, "A Color Map of The Sun". If not, heres a great opportunity to discover new music. I streamed the album when it was available for stream a few days ago, but he also released a second album of all the live studio sessions, basically all the instrumentals that he sampled from. The whole album is a pretty amazing work of art, and he describes it as "analog electronic" or an electronic album made completely of original music of classic instruments. This is the first album release from him in two and a half years, and if you're a pretty lights fan, you probably have felt my pain of anticipation. In order to fully appreciate this album you should watch the short documentary about how it was made.
