where to ski out west 1st week of feb.?

From east coast and was thinking of going to Heavenly, lake tahoe the 1st week of feb. how are the conditions? Are there better place out west to go in the beginning of feb. with good ski conditions as well as good night life?

From Reno/ Lake Tahoe, take US 395 south to State Route 203 (165 miles). go there.
