So i was recently riding my friends sector 9 fiji longboard and I really likes how it rode and im thinking about getting me a pair. Anyways i have a few questions, hows the durability and how do the truck/wheels hold out? I am kind of a newb when it comes to longboards. +k for help
As far as ALL performance matters go, Sector 9s are trash. Get a real board. If you are focused on getting something cheap get an earthwing, otherwise get a landyachtz or something
To be fair to sector 9, they do make good boards, just not the ones that you can buy at zumiez, and usually cost a lot more than i assume you want for a newb board. I would look into landyachtz, they are cheap(compared to most nice boards), fun, and built well. There is a plethora of other good brands, but landyachtz would be a good place to start.
Never really looked at original. But to answer your question OP, wheels and trucks should last quite a while if you aren't doing any free ride. Which I'm guessing you aren't doing because your thinking of a sector 9 pintail.
