Yeah, Belichick is a great coach, but has already been said Brady and McDaniels do most of the work on the offense at this point. Beyond that, at a certain point there is only so much coaches can do and it becomes up to the players to execute properly, and nobody does it better than Brady.
Also, Manning has, except for maybe 2 or 3 years, had much better weapons at his disposal to throw to than Brady. So if you're going to argue Brady loses credit because he is coached by Belichick, then surely Manning should get some kind of an asterisk because he has, for the most part, been surrounded by a much stronger core of receivers than Brady has.
