Hold on... anyone whos watching this postgame crap and listening to this fucking guy talking...

just said "Because he made contact and the ball didn't get to the receiver, it was intercepted first and didn't have a chance to reach the receiver. It is not pass interference"


Sooo by that, I should be allowed to just run a guy off the ball and just have my safety come in and intercept.

Yes. Where the contact was initially made was right where the ball was. Is he going to come back and make the catch? I don't know, but I think gronk would have been able to come back and at least contest for the ball.

I'm happy with the outcome being a Dolphins fan, but I hate to see any team lose on account of the refs.

honestly I need to review it a couple of more times, but appeared to me that Gronkowski was running a route toward the back of the end-- he turned around to spot the ball but he was still running toward the back--not planning on coming back for a pass that was thrown short. I don't think he changed his momentum in time to turn around and catch the ball.

On the other hand, I can see how some would be pissed. If I was a Pat, I'd likely be upset--even if the ball was uncatchable. Stuff that close invokes emotion.

Bohoo Pats fans. The ball was nowhere near catchable, even if no contact was made there were two dbs right there and gronk was already way to deep in the end zone.

Get over it and stop whining about refs. Your team fucked up against the jets to to no fault of the refs and didn't do enough to win last night. If you deserved to win the game it wouldn't have come down to the last play.

I'm sorry, watched it again this morning and it is a bad no-call. The contact started right where the ball was thrown. If gronk plants his foot and comes back he is a big enough buy where he would have been able to body out the safety and make a play on the ball. Again, would he have caught it? I don't know. But the ball was not uncatchable. The refs got it wrong. Maybe it isn't pass interference, but it is at least defensive holding.

And this isn't a crying pats fan, as I mentioned before I am a dolphins fan so this is great for me. I just think its a shitty way to end any game.

Uhhhhh, they changed the rule THE NEXT DAY, and the NFL even admitted they fucked up and that the Jets did the same thing earlier in the game.

Uhh what? I haven't seen anything about a rule change or the nfl admitting they fucked up. The rule was changed prior to this season to protect centers. Proof?

Also, cam is just a freak. Those aren't slow lineman he is blowing the doors off. Ninko and jones are quick dudes and he makes them look like they have concrete shoes

Man play. Hope he gets better with his accuracy and stays healthy cause he is fun as hell to watch...as long as it isn't against your team

My bad, I guess they didn't change the rule, that was apparently just a rumor. But the did admit that they fucked up, which they did.

I don't think you get it. The NFL didn't fuck up or admit they were wrong about the penalty on New England. That article is saying that the Jets did the same thing earlier in the game and should have been flagged.

Yeah, obviously. But if they're gonna call it on the Pats they should call it on other teams too. And the rule was poorly explained to teams by the NFL apparently. It doesn't matter, I'm not going to argue about a call from week 7. It was a shit call, that's all I'm gonna say. The call from last night could go both ways, I'm not really decided either way.

The pass last night wasn't catchable so it shouldn't be pass interference. If it was a thrown to the back of the end-zone it would have been but if you watch the tape there are like 5 Panthers closing in on the ball. Maybe it should have been a holding call but either way Gronk aint catching that.

No, it was a shit call because they didn't call it fairly. They didn't call it on the other team when they violated the rule.

It was defensive holding at the least, ball probably wouldn't have been caught, but it was not uncatchable.

actually TB12 was pretty filthy last night. Completion after completion and marching all the way down the field with under one minute was pretty awesome. At one point 13 straight completions only broken because he had to throw one away

Banged up defense with 6 missing starters couldn't do shit. I think CAR converted nearly all of their 3rd downs, Cam ran for four of them (3 were scrambles). That loss gets pinned on the barely strung together D and ridley for putting one on the ground in the red zone

That is a pretty accurate assessment. Very entertaining game to watch. Especially because I had Cam, Panthers D, and Stephen Gostkowski on my fantasy team and need 30 points to get the W.

He does look like Matt Damon though....

Not blind hate. Just a deep-rooted hatred for all boston-related sports teams. Except the Celtics, but who gives a shit about basketball anyways. As much as I root for washington sports team, I probably find more joy in watching the Patriots/Bruins and Steelers/Penguins lose.

Denver- Seattle Super Bowl. If Minnesota drafts a good qb and a couple good defensive backs we will kill it next year. Carolina is sick too and has good playoff potential. The chiefs are good but very overrated

I'm not the one whining haha. I'm just saying the Pats get away with the ridiculous all the time and their fans should just shut the fuck up when one call goes against them. Same goes for Steelers fans (immaculate deception, much?)

Least it wasn't in the playoffs, and at least they didn't get the treatment the Giants did against the 49ers a while back, or the aforementioned and bullshit tuck rule.

prob the last time Ill be able to go to a game with my dad so it wouldnt have been right if we had won haha they are 0-5 when we have gone to see them, 0-2 in arrowhead, 0-2 i the meadowlands, 0-1 in lincoln financial. some good signs from the offense but some worrying injuries on defense, we had stayed pretty healthy until this week
