Replying to Thunder light snapped kingpin help !

Here is my little problem. i haved been riding my thuder trucks for a couple while now but they still have the brand new feeling to me, i snapped my old deck earlier this week and i don't want to buy new trucks again. I snapped my kingpin because my trucks were to tight and the bushings were good for the trash aswell. The kingpin snapped in half in the hole, for the past hour i've been hiting the fuck out of me with a hammer without succes. Is there a possible way to get the stucked part out of there? A friend of mine said to me that thunder light kingpin's are not the same has an other truck brand.
