I respect that you put a good amount of time in, but Imo it was over-edited. The rewind/fast forward stuff got kind of obnoxious and the colors seemed pretty overdone. I really liked the song though and the 3d tracking with the COC was spot on. Overall a sick edit but those two points were my only peeves.

sorry i had to take the other one down and reupload it so thats why i posted again, my bad. But thanks for the input otherwise. I know its overedited but I think that will make me stand out, from what ive seen the other edits have minimal to no effects so hopefully this Abe Kislevitz style will set me apart a bit for better or for worse

Well thats not what they are looking for, they are looking for someone who can make a flowy cinematic edit. Putting a whole bunch of affects on a video does not make it impressive.

First off, please spell "effect" right, you just lose a bit of credibility in your arguments if you cant even spell the word that your whole argument is based on...and secondly, although I appreciate your opinion, how do you know what they're looking for in this contest? In my opinion it isn't that hard to string together clips and just put music over it..

I did not mean to be negative, I guess you took it the wrong way. I will start out by saying you made a good video, it was cool. But the age of crazy effects is starting to get pushed aside. People these days want something flowy and chill. For example eheath makes some good stuff. From what I have seen coming out of COC not much of it has been effects videos.

No prob, I most likely would of been the same way. Your vid is a lot better than some of the entry's I have seen... A LOT better. Some of them are hilarious.
