The night I lost my eye on Halloween weekend.

There are no benefits to drinking but I drink fairly regularly (once every two weeks or so...i'm getting old).

Had many a rough night, and many a rough morning.

how many of these thread do we need?

...so was it permanent or temporary?

I'm blind in my left-eye... it still tracks with the right so you couldn't tell unless I told you but yeah I can't see shit out of the left.

It's really not as bad as it seems

It's 420 in a small mountain town and I was invited to camp with two lovely ladies at 420 fest. We leave Durango for the festival around noon and detour to the dispensary and gas station. We arrive around 3:30, see a friend (we'll call her Sarah), she lights a joint for us, and the four of us set up our makeshift camp. The It turns out that its only a tent for two people and they planned this. All three of us were to share the tent. Sarah is contemplating camping because she needs to work on a final.

After setting up camp we go to the concert area. We made it there just before 4:20 and we smoke, of course. I saw my RA there, she's cool. After 4:20 everything gets blurry, but I'll do my best to remember.

We wandered around the camp sites without Sarah. Don't know where she went, but I don't mind. She is one of those girls I have to put in the friend zone because they can cause a lot of drama if they weren't. She kind of gets that, but she still persists.

There were a lot of familiar faces around the camp sits, but nothing particularly interesting was going on yet. Naturally we went to take some shots of everclear when Sarah shows up. She had decided that she was going back to study and abstains from drinking.

After we took shots things get really blurry. I know what happened, but I can hardly tell the order of things. Here is just a list of things worth mentioning.

-We spent some time at our camp. We drink some more everclear and smoke some hash. Sarah heads out and the other two girls proceed to tell me they are bi. Yeah, a threesome was in the works.

-We mixed the rest of the everclear with some sort of sobe drink. It turned out to be a really good combo. Then, we head over to the concert area and socialize some more and started dancing.

-I really can't piece together what I did for the next four hours, but I was doing any of the following
a) Hanging out at camp fires
b) Dancing like crazy. A few of my friends were playing that night.
c) Smoking some pot, but we really didn't smoke much later
d) Starting a small fire of our own.
e) Hanging out in a shelter right by the concert venue and messed around with the girls
f) Going back to the camp sites and probably the car.

We begin to sober up and decide to go back to the camp site. I walked one of them in my arms and the other with her arms wrapped around me. All of were happy as could be, excited for the events to follow.

We make it to the camp site after wandering through other camp sites and notice our neighbors were having a fire. We agreed to check out the fire and let things escalate there.

It turns the kids at the camp fire go to the same school as us. They had a wine bag and let us slap it a bunch of times. I was excited to get a little drunk but, at this point, I hadn't eaten anything for close to six hours. That wine bag snuck up on me like a mother fucker. I blacked out and woke up to a bunch of strangers moving me around and bandaging me up.

I woke up with a 2% full thickness burn (third degree burn on 2% of my body), burnt hair, partial thickness burns (second degree) all over my upper back, and my clothing was had caught on fire. No one knew what happened. The girls don't know. I don't even know the people who bandaged me (but I am absolutely grateful they were there to help me out). We went to the ER and realized that I had lost my wallet with my insurance card, debit card, MMJ card, drivers license, and my school ID. The rebandaged me, gave me pain and anti-nausea meds, and told me to see a plastic surgeon the next morning.

I went back to the dorms where I proceeded to puke from the pain of second degree burns. Everytime I tried to move the pain made me dispel what water I had just drunk. When I ran out of water I laid I just laid in my bed. I tried to walk across the hall to the water fountain a few times, but whenever I sat up I would dry heave. The girls came to visit me a few times, but I politely told them to leave. I'm sure they didn't want to see me all pale and in pain, but they probably felt really bad. They did leave me by the fire, but they blacked out like I did.

Eventually the pain subsided and I was able to call my parents and postpone a final. I tried to get some sleep, but it was pretty hard. I didn't take the pain meeds I was given, but the anti-nausea meds were effective. The only trick with the anti-nausea meds is, I need to stop throwing up. I smoked some hash oil and that helped a lot.

I'm getting skin grafted from my leg on thursday after my finals. I won't be able to do anything for a week. Keep me entertained NS, I will be pretty bored.

i puked on the street this morning.

I love to drink. But I have been so healthy recently that when ever I have 3-5 beers in a night it feels like a train hits me just because my body isnt used to toxins. So off of what gets you buzzed gives me a bad hangover.

blacked out last night, just woke up to a phone call about a pool party in an hour. life in southern california is great but fuck, we drink too much

First time actually partying. I got a 26, and I was about 110 pounds at the time. I didn't eat anything during the day, and had a mcdonalds hamburger for dinner ( they make me sick ) I got stoned, and had no idea what I was doing so I ended up pouring my self a shit load of vodka and dp and screwdrivers. I polished off the 26 in about 30 minutes. I was too drunk to sit on a chair, so I layed on a bed and threw up everywhere. I woke up at one point in a shower, with the shower on, without my shirt or pants. I then woke up in the morning on a bed. I couldn't find my pants, or my shirt for the next twenty minutes until I saw some goon trying to walk out of the place with them on.

Drinking at kevtrons last weekend. Other people slept I just kept drinking, fell asleep for a little bit when everyone was gone, then woke up and started drinking. Wasn't awake for an hour without a beer in hand. The last day drank for 22 hours straight. Woke up and was in never drinking again mode. Even after like 3 gallons of water I hated life.


The worst is at festivals in the summer. Not only do you wake up hungover feeling like shit but you wake up in an oven sweating balls and suffocating. Hungover in the summer sun in the middle of a field = fuck errbody.

Yeah... I'm kicking myself pretty hard because of that. I'm just super grateful that they helped me out and still take interest in me despite being a complete fool that night.

I don't think I've ever said to myself that I wouldnt drink again. its just too much fun. with that said i've definitely had some brutal nights where ive worshiped the porcelain god for a couple hours

last night, i was at a party with some kids from my school and some french exchange students and it was pretty fun. drank a little more than i would've liked, and kind of drifted around, it not really hitting me till i was on the way home. i was in my friends car, and the motion started making me nauseous but i didn't think anything of it because i hadn't puked in like 7 years. well, i puked in the car, and i really didn't want to get it in their car, so i held it in my mouth and tapped my friend to pull over. i ran off the side of the road, puked some more, then slept at his house. today, i threw up like 15 times in the morning, and couldnt get out of bed really until 5:00 without wanting to heave. well, now I'm missing my sweatshirt and belt, and feel like shit, but it was pretty fun

I have got outrageously drunk the last 4 weekends ( not including the one just passed). But last weekend I had half a bottle of vodka and a 5 or 6 candian clubs and ginger ale. Needless to say most of the night is a blur.

Moved into my new apt in october I've been messed up more nights than I haven't been, not always on time but i manage to make it to work every morning put a tie on and crunch some numbers. That's a victory I'm my book.

Really rough day today... Went out last night planning on taking it easy, ended up getting pretty hammered. Got home around 1:30, had to wake up at 3:45 to bring my parents to the airport right in between the drunk/hungover phase. Got home, got a few more hours of sleep, headed to work at nine to deal with stuck up assholes at the grocery store all day, while my head pounded like a fucking drum.

I'm never drinking again...
