Armada JJ vs Night train

So these are the two skis I have narrowed my choices Down to and was wondering if anyone had any input. For reference I am 5'9" and 135lbs. I'm looking for a good cruiser ski that can handle groomers and smash down skied out powder and crud. I know both of these skis float well so I'm not really concerned with that as much. Help=k+

If this is what you want to do, honestly I'd reccomend something skinnier than those two.

If you're set on those two skis, I'd advise you go with the Night Trains, they're a far superior ski to the JJ.

My JJs have really be everything I could ever ask for in a ski. Just make sure if you get JJs to get the right size and don't go to small.

I love my night trains. They are pretty good in the crud. But from what I have heard the bibby's would be better at more all around. But if you don't want those, the night trains still crush it.

A friend of mine has night trains and he skis them all mountain. They rip groomers and go all over.

Out of those two i would pick night trains just because there a bit stiffer and i dont really like how jjs ski but i think a on3p jefferey would be a realpy good ski for what your looking for

I have 179 obsetheds and have some trouble turning them sometimes. Would it be ill advised if i got 185 jj's?

ive never skied jjs but im gonna say it wouldnt be a bad idea. Ive heard they turn very easy, almost too easy so you shouldnt have a problem.

When I tested the jjs I went with the 185s. They were really easy to turn. That's because they have 16m turning radius. The 185 would be the way to go at your size. Im 5'9'' 160lbs. Do keep in mind that the JJ is not very good on crud.
I say go with the Night train or Look at ON3P line up. They have way better chop capabilities. ON3P have the end of season sale still going on. The Jeffery or Caylor would be a great choice for a jibby chop eating ski.

In my experience, the added stiffness of the Night Train makes it more versatile on not epic days, but the JJs are money in the soft stuff. If you prefer a softer ski, go with the JJs (don't go too short!), and if you like more of a charging ski, go with the Night Trains.
