Evo sent me the wrong skis

So I decided to order new skis from evo. I ordered filthy riches with express shipping. They came in today. When i opened them they weren't filthy riches they were billy goats. The package they were shipped in said filthy rich! EVEN THE STICKER ON THE SKIS SAID FILTHY RICH !!! I called them super upset. Management was closed so i talked to a random lady. So they're sold out of frs. I'm calling back tomorrow and going to figure something out. So in the mean while im without skis :( shitty day

The kid ordered skis with what may be his own money and he got different ones, he doesn't want to ride them because he wants the ones he ordered. Why is this such a crime to you guys? You don't want to get what you bought?

One time I ordered an armada angular softshell then they said they didn't have it and I should order a different one, Then they didn't have that one either and I ordered a third different one and they also didn't have it even though they said they had all three at their site.

Highly doubt this kid will want a stiff, fast big mountain ski when he ordered a playful park ski.


OP needs to wait and have it all sorted out. By no means is it right for you to have to keep the product when Evo messed up.
Be mature and calm about it, and you can send the skis back and get a credit. Like mentioned, use this credit towards next years FRs.
It's April now....season is winding down, I think you'll be able to survive without new skis.

I mean isn't the best part about the internet that you can share and read shopping experiences of others? This will be a fantastic testament to the quality of Evo's service.

I know Evo is a super stand up shop, so they'll do right. I also know how angry it can make a person when your order gets fucked up. An online shop in my mind is basically made or broken based on how they handle messed up orders, because lets face it - it does happen.

I never had a problem with EVO, even when I've had problems, they always fix it to the point where I don't think of it as a problem. Just try and be calm with them, mistakes happen, they'll figure it out.

Before you come on a forum and start bad mouthing shops you should wait and get all the info and talk to the right people. Evo is in business because of the way they deal with people. Take a night off and call in the morning. I can tell you Evo will come up with a solution everyone is happy with. I know you were looking forward to jacking off on your new skis the second you got home from Jr high but chill out. They will take care of it.

Like Mr. Bishop said, there's nothing wrong with coming on here, if it works out, he'll post in this thread and make Evo look even better, which I'm sure will happen. I'm sort of surprised I got called a 'fucking braindead retard' for defending a guy though, but hey, I used to go on the internet after school in grade 7 too

Well if it's negative publicity they will most likly take it down. thats fulltilt did with my thread Some mod just deleted it and they never got back to me, But as stated above I'm sure EVO is a good company.

there is everything wrong with this. I understand people only post when needing to complain but you will not see this individual posting how great his order was or how awesome his ordering experience was. His intention is to try and find someone on EVO to chime in and fix it instead of just waiting till the next day they are open to call them and just straighten it all out.

We all know that evo, being the company they are, will pay for return shipping and ship out the correct ski on a next day air. I really hope this thread gets deleted and he posts a positive review for them.

No need for all this hate! id be kind of upset if i ordered park skis and got pow skis. Maybe he already has dope pow skis or lives in Michigan. But OP, you really shouldn't have made this until you actually got to talk to someone at Evo who could help you. And knowing evo, you'll be fine, and maybe get a little something extra from them. But still, theres a lot of hate for a thread that isn't worth it.

All we ever hear on here is things like this, where the order is wrong. No one ever posts, "I had a good experience with this company, they got me what I paid for quickly." It would be stupid to make threads like that, but now we get to see how evo responds (assuming OP posts what they do). It's interesting seeing a first hand review on how a company handles problems, because people will be more or less likely to buy from them based on what happens.

I've had nothing short of great experiences with full tilt (and evo). Broke the lower buckle (plastic strap and all) on my booters off. Contacted evo, where I bought them over a year ago, and they were able to get ft to reimburse them, which they passed on to me. So I got a new pair of boots and got to keep my old pair too. Great service on both companies parts
