After some setbacks that pushed this contest back quite a bit, we're happy to announce the start of the ON3P/ Shredsauce Secret Sauce Open.

How it works:
The Secret Sauce Open is a video slopestyle contest. To enter, lay down a run on the ON3P Shredsauce Slopestyle course, record it, and upload it here to have it judged by the Newschoolers community. If you can not figure out how to record your run on your computer, do whatever it takes to get it online! Members who are unable to upload a video with acceptable quality to judge what's going on will be disqualified.
Format-wise, feel free to use the course however you see fit, but keep in mind that it's one run to rule them all. Your entry must be a top-to-bottom run of Shredsauce, and no editing is allowed. Any editing or multiple runs will result in an immediate disqualification.
The first round will be five days long (from Wednesday, April 3rd until Monday, April 8th at 9pm PST/Midnight EST), and only one entry per person is allowed, so please use your time wisely to record a run that you are proud of. After the deadline for entries has passed, the Newschoolers community will have two days (from Tuesday, April 9th until Wednesday, April 10th at 9pm PST/Midnight EST) to vote for their favorite entries.
After the first round, the 32 highest rated entries as determined by the Newschoolers community will go head-to-head in in subsequent rounds until the final two play for the grand prize.
Each head-to-head round is two days long, and will have changes to the course! It is up to you to make sure you are able to put together a good run in those two days.
Voting for each head-to-head round is two days long – long enough for you to promote yourself, but not long enough to totally whore yourself out on Facebook.
All voting will be done entirely by the Newschoolers community, and you must be a North American citizen (excluding Quebec, due to legal reasons outside of Newschoolers, ON3P and Shresauce's control) over the age of 13 to be eligible for this contest.
The grand prize winner of The Secret Sauce Open will receive a pair of ON3P Jeronimo skis, 2nd place will receive 3 ON3P t-shirts and 3 ON3P hats, 3rd place will receive 3 ON3P t-shirts and a sticker pack, and the ON3P's staff favorite entry will receive 3 ON3P t-shirts and a sticker pack.
