So, I've got 180's down fine, but every time I try a 3 I always lean back, obviously I need to lean forward, does anyone have an tips or methods of leaning more forward, I know what I need to do, I just fuck up when it comes down to doing it.
Cheers guys, was gonna try today but the hill is shut due to wind, what the best size kicker to try on? Bit nervous about trying it over the 30 footers and 50 footers. Japanese parks just get insanely big at the end of the season haha
You have three hundred and sixty problems? Yeah I don't think anyone can help you..
But seriously, don't look down. It will put you in the backseat all the time.
practice switch 180s in the same direction you try 360s. once you feel comfortable doing both the 180s that compose the 360, going for the whole spin will be a lot easier.
Don't spin until you're in the air. If you spin before your skis are clear of the takeoff, you're fucked and will most likely land backseat or die. Keep your head looking at the horizon, if you look up or down, you'll go off axis and get hurt, or at least I did earlier this season. Once you can see your landing, square your shoulders and head so that you're pointed at it and you should land perfectly, if all goes according to plan.
Everyone says look over your shoulder and thats how i learned 3's and id always land back seat but then someone told to look under my shoulder and it helped me out so much.
Cheers for all the help guys, I started by 180ing right and left. Then went for the 3 and stomped it clean first time! Didn't fall on a single attempt! Biggest jump I tried it on was about 15foot, strange spinning slowly but I wasn't back seat so all Is good!
