How did Nick Goepper win over Henrick in X Slope? his rail section was sloppy , his jump tricks were good but henrick did a fucking nose butter 450 on pretzel 450 out ..and an epic nose butter double 12 blunt... and all sorts of other stuff..
maybe it was the right side stuff Nick did.. but still whack.. I hate the guys style he skis like an aerialist that grabs his skis.. Xgames judges suck balls..

Goepper really did lay out a few solid runs, but personally I thought Woods had the best of them all. Not sure if he through both side dubs consecutively like Goepper did, does anyone know? If so then I think he absolutely deserved to win. Henrik was fantastic as well throughout the comp, minus his little miscue on the first rail of run 1. Have to admit I laughed a bit.

woodsy had left dub 10 to right dub 12. I feel like if Woodsy had done the octograb switch dub 10 on his last run he would have won.

1st: Dub cork 1080 mute to tail. Sick
2nd: Left side dub cork 1260 tail.
3rd: switch right side double rodeo japan 1080
4th: switch double bio mute.

It was actually left dub 10 lead tail, right dub 12 trailing tail, switch leftside dub 10 japan, and switch right dub misty 12 mute.

Dude you fuck heads need to shut the fuck up. Do I really need to break this down trick by trick?

rail 1 - Henrik

rest of rails - Tie (dont even try to argue this, they both did very easy tricks that anyone who was in finals could do on these features)

jump 1 - goepper (g-unnatural dub 10 blunt vs h-unnaty sw 9)

jump 2 - goepper (g-natural dub 12 blunt vs h-natural dub 12 mute very close but for me blunt > mute)

jump 3 - goepper (g-sw unnatural dub 10 vs h- sw natural dub 9)

jump 4 - henrik (g-sw natural dub misty 12 mute vs h- nose butt dub 12 blunt)


Goepper wins, 4 to 3. I love henrik and think hes the best skier in the world right now but goeppers run was better, period. its not an opinon, its a fact. Now, shut the fuck up about it.

Fuck off and learn how to read(or comprehend, i'm not sure which part troubles you so much) before you go off on one of your little anger posts.

I just thought it was humorous that he was calling out HH's rail tricks and Goepper's were no better if not worse.

Nick deserved first and HH deserved 2nd and nowhere have i posted that i thought otherwise.

This. Not that Henrik didn't slay (nobody is claiming that), just the technicality of Goepper's jumps section was next level.

Plus I liked the back-to-back opposite dubs on his first two hits, both blunted. Pretty cool.

Henrik's rails section > Goepper's rails section, basically solely due to Henrik's first hit on the downrail

BUT

Goepper's jumps section >> Henrik's jumps section, 4 clean dubs all four ways vs. one rightside spin followed by three leftside dubs.

Also, it's hard to say how the judges were weighting rails vs. jumps... either way, it's hard to argue that Goepper didn't deserve first, because his rails section was very solid too

I liked Haetviet and Bellmare, Schlopy and Joss killed it too, I can't complain too much though, Everyone slayed and the judges had a tough choice.

The only person in the world capable of putting a slope run higher than a 94 is wallsich. When geopper got that score it was gg.

Geopper has his landings and tricks on lock, yes his style isn't my cup of tea either but from a judging aspect it is difficult to deduct points when nothing trickwise is done wrong... Only person who can keep up with Geopper trick-wise is wally, and is the only person who can consistently land better.

Would of been so sick to see Wally in the finals, the rail tricks he could of thrown down would of blown my mind im sure.

Personally, woodsy should of had it. I don't see a lot of people blend technical tricks with smooth style like he does.

goepper opens up before he lands, drives me nuts and imo shows a lack of control. mike douglas would call it "composed". mego-mo doesn't lie

but technically, his run was tougher than anyone else.

i'm sure Henrik is pumped he get second and doesn't care so we shouldnt either. He and the rest of the guys put on a great show and looked like they were having a blast and thats what skiing is about. Personally I enjoyed Woodsy's 2nd (i think) run but everyone killed it. Yeah goepper's style is robotic and im not a big fan but like eheath said its not a style contest. everyone should just enjoy it for the unreal show they put on and stop caring more than they do.

as soon as the rest of you guys starts looking at this objectively you´ll get it, Eheath is right. And when there´s four jumps the judges want you to show all ways of spinning, this is probably the main reason why Tiril won womens slopestyle as well.

they were both at the top of the podium, and could easily be interchangeable. it's not like anyone got robbed.

they both killed it and by both of them being on the podium it shows that drastically different styles in skiing can coexist in contests. i like it.

i thoroughly enjoyed goepper grabbing blunt in both way doubles, and thoroughly enjoyed henrik's nosebutter double with a blunt. just fantastic.

judging was accurate for the most part
bellemares and woods run were my favorite though that dub 10 japan and the sw tails 4 were so fucking sick as well as woodsys octo and dub 12 truck. i liked both of there rail sections way better than anyone elses they slayed that cannon to

Woodsy definitely had the most impressive IMO.

He had a creative rail line with super solid tricks. Extra points in my book for that super stylie 810 tail of the cannon box, and holy shit his jumps were mindblowingly good. No one else that I saw had such a variety of grabs and style.

Henrik's run wasn't up to par on jumps, plain and simple. Which is weird because he has such a deep bag of tricks and he went with a double cork 12 mute? Considering the tricks he's thrown in competition over the past several years he most certainly could've won.

Bellmare's rails were top notch, unfortunately that rodeo 450 on the cannon box cost him.

yea but he only spun unnatural once, that's what cost him and HH the win, also the handdrag was not all that impressive.
