John Spriggs Very Under Rated...

The Dude Straight up slays everything, from fakie 1440's to gnarl Bc Doubles, to crazy pillow lines and huge big mountain stuff this guy is 6 Foot 5 and has more style than 99% of the monkey park skiers of the world.. In my opinion he's top 5 all round skiers on planet earth..

seriously though, i used to hate spriggs with a passion, but ive grown out of that recently. i do respect a bigger guy throwing down, its tough to be smooth when youre tall, im 6'2 and use it as an excuse all the time. spriggs towers over me and keeps it real.














he still doesnt cork in the first 720 of those dub 12s though...

Meh. I think he's sort of over rated. His trick bag is awesome and he kills it, but his style isn't on par with many other pro skiers. Not trying to hate, I think he's an amazing skier. But I don't think he's under rated. If anything he's over rated when compared to some of those unknown steezey European kids.

im just not into his style. i think hes amazing at skiing though regardless, i the last time i saw him i was super impressed and his style has actually gone way up.

I'm starting to appreciate Spriggs more and more. I think he has a real complete game that not many do.

In a world where skiing backseat and flapping your arms like a chicken equates to style, I'll take Spriggs style over that shit.

Spriggs just doesn't care. It's just fun to follow him. I think that a lot of the time he doesn't know what he is going to throw until he's off the ground. Screamin Seeman off of an up rail!?

Spriggs is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're going to get :-)

In that interview it said he was 6'5" but I guess I didn't believe it, until he's standing next to another skier in the last frame of the summer edit. Holy shit - dude is tall.
