Idk. He was the man. Little kid coming on the scene straight killing it. Couldn't even get enough speed to clear the jumps cause he was so small.


Had a good vibe. Then slowly got polluted by all the attention and turned into a self absorbed dbag.

I guess it's understandable. If you're literally in the spotlight everywhere you go, can't just be a regular guy anywhere, it does something to people. And he is def an icon that people pick out and probably come up to none stop. At the same time I think if you're a douche, your a douche in my book. I understand it but still, doesn't make it right.

Oh well. He's a great snowboarder, but he's not really the man anymore. Also seeing all the hype and then having him get bonus points in contests for years is a little bit annoying.

There are riders that are fucking killing it and progressing the sport hard but people only care about the flying potato :(

This kid was gathering his fame while I was watch JJ, Bjorn, Terje, Todd, Brushie, Farmer, Kelly - so I wasn't at an age to jump on the hype train. He was a media snowboarder and he did it well. You can't deny the kid has crazy talent. He just ate up the media side of it.
