I've been seeing a lot of posts about this, and was wondering if its worth r-mounting my bindings?
is it really that noticeable?

Might be completely wrong, but I heard something about Dumont mounting his skis just ahead of center. However I might just be confused. Just as a note OP, mounting forward of center is very unconventional, and I could only see that doing so would benefit you a) if the skis were symmetrical and b) if you ski switch more than 50% of the time.
