usb converter

i do not own a DV camera so i think i need one of these so i am able to trasfer footage from my tapes to the comp any idea where i can get one and who makes em?

If it is dv I would use firewire cuz usb is hella slow with digital video

I think you have to use firewire with DV, I can't think of any camera that allows you to upload video with usb. The only reason camcoreders have usb ports is to upload pics of the memory card.

yeah, you're going to need a firewire port or a new firewire card to do DV.

actually my sony cam lets you use USB, its retardedly slow though.
