i talked to a kid today that was riden em

he said they were the shit and ruled all over the mountain

so obviously he didnt know wahy he was talking abot

and he def did not need them in the park he wasent able to sllide the smallest rail or box

so i am asuming he doesent know what the hell he is talkin about

they could be the biggeest rip off in the idustry. it cost less to build soft flexing skis, and they are like 550+. (thats why they can offer peps ski at 300). if you want way better ski for less, go 4frnt STL. they are soft as fuck, have more pop than a middleschool lan party, and wiehg NOTHING. they can be had for 450 if you ask around. if your on a budget, go line 1260s or fujatives, but not the t halls. i have a real problem with a company selling their cheapest made ski for that much.

I agree with East_Coast about the cheaper construction being sold for the highest price. The only thing is that putting the name 'T-Hall Pro' on the ski your going to sell them. The market for that ski are people who live for Tanner Hall or who don't really care how much they spend on a ski. Really they could be priced at $700 and would sell out. There are some differences that do make the fujatives a little bit cheaper. Like the cap construction. If money is an issue get fujatives, if it is a christmas gift, get the T-Hall Pro.

adrian, you just got some msps for free. you have ar5s. and you have a pare of 1260s. you dont at leat go skiing on the msps before you get an other pair......it seems exessive to be buying all those skis. and thats coming from me.

ben, im probably not gona use the msps in the park since theyre bc skis and i dont want to destroy them. And my AR5s are getting real small - im 5'10 and theyre 160s... And I bought the 1260s for 50 bucks as urban skis.

I was just wondering if the t halls were gona more-or-less the same as the AR5s cause thatd be stupid, might as well buy a new pair of ar5s.

no...maybe talk if u work in a ski shop. The biggest rip off in the market is the 1080 because:
foam core
cap construction
same freakin thing for 3 years running

now u tell me the dif. between a ski designed by t hall fo munk or one by mr. salomon racer.
same price, one from a lil rider company, the other from a go speed racer company.

actually, k2s are cheap as hell casue they are made in china. i garentee you armada could not make a substancial profit selling their skis for that price. and the t halls are different from the ar5s. they are the same dimmensions, but instead of having a full angled sidewall, they turn 90 at the bingings, for better edge strength. plus they use a softer core. but again, what i said, the 4frnt stls have a very similar flex pattern and dimensions, are lighter, have a 2 year warrenty, are made with carbon fiber and have tons of pop, stronger edges and bases, and come in more sizes than the t halls, and for 100 less. I havent ridden t halls, and im shure they are fun skis, but there are definatly better skis for the same application (which will work for all mountain better too), that cost less. i am not a fan of armada, cause thier skis arnt any better than anything else on the market, but the prices are way higher. and yeah, 1080s are the WORST rip off, but i dont think anyone considers those serious skis anymore. and for anyone to say their prices are high casue they are new, thats bs, its cause they had to pay a huge manufacturing fee to have thier skis built. i think its kinda gay when a company comes out, and they dont even build thier own skis. there are plenty of new companies that build thier own stuff, and the name represents a the handmade quality of the skis. with armadas, you pay for a name, and ride a ski thats made in a factory with a Bizillion other skis. i would WAY rather support a company that builds thier own skis, like line (yes they build them, they just rented factory space from karhu) 4frnt, Ninthward, factions, liberties, ect. i know first hand how much goes into building skis, and i would way wather buy craftsmanship then an off the shelf product.

^for one thing, the t-hall has different dimmensions than the ar5, i is slightly narrower everywhere. also, the ar5 has the same vertical sidewall underfoot construction. so you are just paying for the name, the core, and edges that have been sulled for you. what a deal!
