I added this all up in My homeroom the other day at school. with my level 1 Full Tilts and My line Blends plus bindings a head to toe Saga order and some Gloves and a wax iron from Evo I dropped $2200 Canadian. but its fresh as fuck.

Why?

Some people need new gear.
I personally haven't had a pair of skis last me for more than a season for awhile now, and this is also the first year I'm going to start taking park more seriously.
On top of that, bindings don't come cheap, but they're usually my longest lasting piece of gear (last Salomon STH 16s I had lasted me 6 seasons).

I spoil myself, I do. I certainly don't need new outerwear every year, but I work hard for my money and like having a new coat every year. Pants can stay the same.

It's people's money, and most of them work all summer so that they can have their dream set up for the winter.

So what I've spent (and going to spend) roughly $3000 this year. I knew this would happen. First year without skiing for anyone, and I've seen that things get pricy.

What's the point of making all that money you work hard for if you can't have some fun with it?

My gear that I've gotten has been split between my parents and I(for you grammar critics

Ski setup

Skis, Griffons, mounting-$450

Same skis as last year, FFG14s, mounting(free), base repairs, waxing, detuned edges-$170

Ski pants-$80

Poles-$40

Poc lobes and receptor bug-$200

Gloves-$25

Season pass-$360

Spks-$70

Total-$1395

I am very happy with all my purchases and thankful for most of the deals I got. That price could have been alot higher.

Shit ya'll are noobs. I spent 35$ at the burton sale, got a down vest, 2 beanies and a wallet. Getting a seasons pass for free this year from volunteering too.

Oh, and I bought a new Fit VH2 at 585 earlier in the season, and even though that's not ski gear, it still sets my total season costs at 1485. Also, I don't have any passes yet, so there goes more skrilla.

wtf, how do people get some stuff so cheap, especially jackets and pants?! I've never seen gear that cheap, at least in stores. At my shop, there was a pair of Armada pants for nearly $500! You would be insane to pay that much.

i found my gear on websites with no names and just prayed my stuff got here. Other than that, all I needed were new pants.

It's still pretty expensive if I consider how much money I'll throw towards gas and lift tickets..

Was wrong, it's actually 399 euro, still cheap in my opinion. Also, theres offer all the friggin' time. When i got this it was 11% off of the whole site

I'll probably end up buying stuff anyway, might ned a new pack and a new shovel. And all the money I remember that I used to spend on gear, I've spent on trips. Stoked as fuck on that too.
