i know someone here knows how to do this: taking a dvd and ripping it into MPEG format, which is considerably smaller than a dvd. i have an hr long skatebopard video that is MPEG that is only 400 megs. i want to be able to do this with my ski videos so i can keep em on my laptop. anyone know how to do this and what programs i need? and where i can get a 'trial' version. 'hint hint'?
