Price of Food at your hill

Whats the price of food like at your Mountain? Mine is pretty ridiculous. I think four chicken tenders runs about $9.00 dollars now. That being said I only buy meals if I ever forget to pack a lunch or other snacks.

wayyyy too expensive, the on hill restaurants are about 20 bucks for a burger and fries. Luckily you can walk for 5 or 10 minutes and go to this restaurant that has 10 dollar burger in fries although the price is rising you used to be able to get a drink with that for 10 bucks but now its like 12 with a drink.

If you want a burger/chicken strips/ a sandwich with fries it will run you from 12-15 dorra. I haven't bought food there in quite a while. Drinks are also like 3 dollars for a bottle of pop. Pretty crazy but they can get away with it.

What do you do? Smoke out the cooks?

At my hill a burger is about $10.50 or so. Soups are $7-$8 somewhere in there. The food is good but should be somewhere around half of what it is. The cooks are just stoners high as fuck flipping burgers and filling bread bowls. That does not give them the right to double the cost.

the soup at my hill is like 5 for a bread bowl and its soooo good, i just steal redbulls/pops/brownies since they nail me for a 8.00 dollar cheeseburger

when I was a coach it wasn't bad haha. But now I think its about $18 for a cheeseburger. A very good cheeseburger, but still. Thats in the new lodge (cafeteria though). The other stuff is just regular expensive. And then there is also a nice restaurant at the top. Very good, but not exactly free

$5.50- regular

$7.00- large and it's soooooo worth it.

In my resort we have three food spots, two restaurants and one café. The prices are pretty low to be at a skiresort, mostly because it's a small one. The first restaurants have burger-buffé everyday, plus something else. That runs for like 90 sek ($13.5), they used to have a free refill drink with that, but so many kids drank so much coke that they now just include a bottle.

The other places are operated by my parents, so I get free or cheaper food. Obviously I have to work there sometimes too. But the prices are pretty good, the restaurant has lunch-buffé every day, and it runs for 85 sek I think. It basically all-you-can-eat. The café has burgers and stuff, end they go for 60 sek ($9) with fries.

From what I can see, some of your mountains pricers are pretty cheap. I mean, here a meal at a fast-food joint is like $9-10 or even more, and to have prices lower than that is pretty much impossible.

whistler is dope, employee discount 50%, get a mad beef burger with a side of fries and a massive coke for like $9, its a legit burger too, my mountain in australia on the other hand (thredbo) $10 for the shittiest little burger >:(

European ski stations are ridiculous (especially the touristic ones)

At verbier, where i spent most of last season

first off a coke is 3.50 chf (4.50$)
A pizza is 15chf (18.50$)
and a cereal bar is round about 3chf ( 4$)

...i always pack a lunch

Oh and a yearly pass is 1300 chf (1500$)
luckily i won mine in a photo contest

And actually they sell mozzarella sticks for about $6.00 and breadsticks for $2.00 the difference is that the bread sticks are longer, taste better and the even have cheese inside them and red sauce to dunk in....that's the one and only thing i love there

i used to be so tight with the kitchen workers at my hill that they would just let me behind the counter, i would make my own food, and then they would let me walk out without paying.

I usually try and get like stir-fry or something like that. U can ask for extra stuff and the people making it don't care so they just hook it up. A stir-fry in the cafe where I ride is about 9 which I think is pretty reasonable. But ya if I got a loaded burger and fries it would be like 15 haha

At 10 pm when the lodge closes you can sometimes get all the food they'd otherwise throw out for free.

Yeah at my hill its like 10 bucks for a cheeseburger, 6 bucks for a redbull, ect. I usually make tomato soup out of ketchup, tobasco, salt/pepper, creamer, and hot water. Alot of the times they yell at me for stealing and then I have to go around and show them what i got was free. I actually tastes good if you know how to balance the ingredients correctly.

Its a business, and many of the people that ski can afford ridiculous prices as long as people are still buying it. Movie theaters are just as bad. At least you can bring your own food to the mountain.

Mine isn't too bad compared to some of your guys', I think its like $4 for a poutine, $3 for fries, $5-6 for a burger, $8 for a burger and fries, $9 for a 13 in pizza bread (fucking amazing), $12 for a 15 in, and don't really remember the rest.

keystones insane, and so is vail unless some one buys me lunch which happens sometimes but i bring a peanut butter sandwhich with bannana, some beef jerky or if my moms there some amazing sandwich. but fries are $6.
