Just noticed the changes. Is it searching by a mix of date + thread length?

I'm just glad that every search isn't pulling up the most recent billion threads. This has potential. Thanks

This. Literal title search was really nice. And the thing is, it had the ability to be a keyword search, too. The only difference being you could only search for one at a time. But who the fuck does that anyway?

Just get a goddamn Google searchbar in here. In-house programming is cool, but I care a whole lot more about how it works.

I know. I pride myself at being excellent on finding anything on the internet. Just use different keywords and you get shit done fast.

The ns search, no matter what you search, you're going to get a billion things that you aren't looking for. You pretty much have to search something and look through pages, or just google it like I pretty much rely on.

What?

If I want to find information on Salomon Ghosts, the single words "Salomon" and "Ghost" are going to turn up a ton of unrelated threads. But "Ghost" and "boots" might actually work as a multiple keyword search.

The fact that we have to go to Google for multiple keyword searches is bananas.

You must be talented at finding things quickly.

If you type pretty much any word into the search you're gonna pull up a fuck ton of threads that you don't want, unless there's a word in the title that's extremely unique.


When I search something I want to narrow it down to as few choices right at the start, and if I can, pull up just the one thread I want.

This makes searching for items in b/s/t MUCH more difficult.  For example: searching "fks" gets FS threads from 2010, reviews and "wut bindin is gud?" threads from 2008.
