Yeah but do you identify with it? I mean the whole thing here is that my grandparents would have looked at a movie like Dirty Dancing and thought it was every bit as much filth as this.

Mainly what I've been debating with my friends lately is how we can actually become parents that are 'lame and don't get it'. When you become a parent, you realize that your parents are people too. Its super weird. Then you wonder how they can stop getting it...

But this is almost a perfect example. To adults in '56 Elvis blasted this piece of over-sexualized insanity on 'kids these days' - degrading moral culture and dooming kids to depraved sexual lust forever:



Then in '87 parents everywhere were horrified at the dancing scenes depicting youth 'bumping and grinding' which would turn a generation of children into sex fiends (me).



Then Major Lazer. If in 13 years when my Son is 15, he all of a sudden is Daggering all over the place with other 15 year old bitches because he watched this video:



I have a feeling I would not be pleased.

Though... If I don't want to complete the cycle, I guess my wife and I should go out and start daggering?

its not really the sexualization that i have a problem with (from my very first middle school dance i would grind on every piece of ass i could), its just the fact that their doing it with absolutely no attention paid to the music; they're just humping, straight-up, with clothes on.
