Anyone know the best way to clean the wheels/bearings or a longboard? Mine have been spinning really slowly lately and I'm not 100% sure how to clean them without ruining them. Thanks in advance!
Get the bearings, take of the protector plate.
Get some gasoline in a small metal container.
Put beatings in gasoline.
Swish around.
Take out bearings.
Let bearings dry out.
Get some white lithium grease.
Grease bearings.
Put bearings back in.
Continue to go so fast it will catch the wheels on fire.
get some all purpose house hold cleaner make sure it's orange scented, very very important. pop off the protectors, put this mix in a bearing cleaner/water bottle and shake it around gently, then wipe them all clean, replace the protector things, and get some bearing lube, i use reflex bearing lube shit is great, put them back in and you will be good to go, trumpet valve oil works just as well, although i wouldn't recommend it.
AND PRESTO you're going.
