A new ski game

Hello! I've been working on this as a little side project over the summer. It's way better if you have a controller but you can play with the keyboard if you don't have one. Try it, there are plenty of bugs!

can you make different camera angles and a movable camera
so you can make the view just the way you want

it would also be cool if you could make it follow the player, and turn it on or off with a key

Yep this works for me as well. Oh that uncrossed blunt sure is beautiful. Now I can do the Chowens sw right 10 lead blunt.

New grabs are sick, shadow is cool too.

I pretty much push down my grab and tap h+left arrow at the same time and I will have enough spin so that I just brake down the spin a little bit with g before I land. They were hard at first but when you learn theme they are pretty easy and super funny to do.

Best skiing game ever created. I love the new grabs/tweaks.

Only thing I would change is maybe a few outerwear options? but do whatever you want haha.

LOVE uncrossed tail

would look so much sicker if the rails and jumps cast shadows too. It's weird to look like you're sliding on air.

yeah, is there any way of upping the graphics with unity? I know nothing about creating a game so if its too hard nbd but it would be nice to try and slowly get it up to at least ssx quality. dont know how much work that would be though...

when i play on my 37" hdtv with thunderbolt to HDMI the quality is amazing. This game so dang fantastic. I have ceased to have boredom. just awaiting more grabs and more features or locations! forget all the outfit/ski/nonsensical pointless changes.

^Noted. I can always go in and tweak the grabs a little.

I just made the game less laggy. I still need to fix the animations so they don't jitter. The shadows weren't slowing the game down, it was something in my code getting repeated a shit load of times that I had to fix.

Hey Malcolm, just a thought - I think uncrossed tail would work better as the base grab, then the tweak button should cross it. That way you don't get the character trying to cross his skis for a millisecond when you go for uncrossed tail.

That second page, less lag version is still cleaner than the home page right now.... IMO but that page is the smoothest version yet!
