A new ski game

Hello! I've been working on this as a little side project over the summer. It's way better if you have a controller but you can play with the keyboard if you don't have one. Try it, there are plenty of bugs!

maybe im an idiot but i dont know how to grab on a ps3 controller. it says right stick but for me it isn't working. someone smart pm me.

holy tripple post. PM me if you know how to map the PS3 controllers buttons so that the left stick is the axis and right stick is mapped for grabs. Currently my controller is mapped to the d-pad as the axis and no grabs.

when you jump just grab tail for a little right after.. Its the best you can do.

im currently on a 64 bit pc on win 7. mapping is different than the photos given. has anyone already mapped for 64 bit? on 060001?

You have to download the "photo", its a template for your controller buttons mapping. I mapped mine on W7 64 bit, read the tutorial again.

Am I the only one who plays better on a keyboard?

I'm much better on a keyboard. Only downside is you can't control spin speed perfectly, but tapping solves that pretty well.

i didnt read through thread so i dont know whether you guys have talked about this already.

but, if you do a quick jump with 180' spin and lean the skier up hill he will butter. doing it right before a rail jump is awesome, but pretty tricky.
his skis kindof go into the snow glitchy like, but its the closest thing to buttering ive found

Noooo shouldn't have removed the upper part part of the up-flat, it was the most technical rail :(

Love the new flat rail next to it though, the park is getting more creative.

You can put your start point next to the battleship rail and use the lip of the up-flat. There are a bunch of other options too obviously but that one is pretty easy once you get the hang of it.

and i know im gonna get hated for this but...
it almost seems like your starting to cram to much into one level and in one space now instead of having flowy more realistic lines like it did at the beginning of the game, dont get me wrong its amazing having options it just sucks cause i wanna hit them all and cant choose what to do!!

i love this game though! thanks for doing an amazing job and shutting up all of those ski game threads

make them clickable, if you click it it goes to that version. the one where there's a big cliff drop to flat box on the left was the best one.

anyone else notice that since the c-rail update the tube between the jumps is all wonky now?? whenever i jump and accidentally go over it coming from the side my skier wobbles a bunch

this game has gone pretty far this quick I hope the updates dont slow down. I really like the little angled rail by the up flat. You should definitely put more rails going different directions on the hill besides downhill. having some angled ones leading into different lines could add a lot more options and longer lines of SHREDSAUCEE
