Replying to Shadow People

When I was 5 or so I had this really bad nightmares and woke up and saw what I though was a figure in the corner of my room and disappeared super quick this happened twice. My parents convinced me that it wasn't real. A week a go I tripped on shrooms and had this vivid meeting with a shadowy entity. For me it was kind of creepy. It was like the entity was looking inside me trying to make me do something. I felt like shit and a worthless person. Then I escaped that state I was in and tripped happily after that. Just today I was talking to my friend about it and my child hood and he said that shade people are possibly a real entity mad of mostly energy but he didn't know. I recently just had this strange encounter just about 30 minutes ago what looked like a shadowy figure passed my door way. My cat is freaked out and hiding but I'm still not sure what to think of this. Have any of you run into any situations like this?
