Why do people want to see campers? Why do people want to see the lifestyle at the camp? There are few times when a ton of pros get together to shred and we get to watch and one is camp videos, two is random scarce park edits, and three is ski movies which we have to pay for. I see it as a chance to watch skiiers ski who don't make lots of edits (Jamieson Irvine). Who cares about campers skiing? Campers are inherently usually worse that pros. Plus every single camp edit almost ever shows the campers and there little competitions for free hats that involve some silly task or a game of knockout. Why do people want to see that, you know its there its in every single camp edit, you know there is other activities other than skiing. I am just saying, there was a ton of hate for the recent Momentum edit which was sick, and it would just suck to see those 5 minutes get divied up for pointless knockout and campers doing sloppy cork 7's. I know the Momentum people are eyeing the feedback
You sound a little jealous. camps put campers in the videos because they want to show what the camps are really like and it makes the campers feel awesome. They're catoring (sp) to the people paying them money which is understandable. they dont give a shit about some kid at home who wants to see pros ski together but is too cheap to buy ski movies.
if i would've been in my camp edit, i would've been so thrilled, then showed my whole family. when you pay that much money, you want to see yourself and your friends, not pros. the edits are to show how fun camp is, and to give a little back to the campers for paying a ton of money. going to ohio dreams is one of the most memorable things I've ever done, thats what camps try to portray in edits. that its not just pros, its a once in a lifetime experience.
Look at the title of your thread, it's a camp video they aren't made to showcase pro's summers(although they do) they're made to showcase the camp all aspects of it they're advertisements really that's all there is too it
