This thread's to share what you're most stoked about in the photo/film world. I know people are busy and have a lot of ideas that they want to pursue, and just haven't quite had the time yet to make it happen. Hopefully posting some things you want to film will help you to create some time to get it done.

To start things off--

- I just got back in touch with a friend that four wheels and is so sick at it. I already have a perfect song picked out and have been picturing the shots I'll get for the last day. Can't wait to start filming.

- Finally picked up a sandisk extreme pro 32gb 95mb/s SD card for my t2i and no longer have to worry about "filming has stopped automatically", makes me feel so much more confident when filming important things

- Just purchased a 3tb hard drive, so all my shits backed up!

I'm going to send in an entire roll of dick pics thus forcing you too look at dicks when you develop and scan them.

Also you didn't even use the logo I sweated over for a whole 32,5 minutes. :sadface:

saved the $6 roll of ilford with the $2 roll of kodak. I really shouldn't have used my nice film for the first roll on the ME.

Oh boy does film taste bad though.

also, does anyone recommend cutting off the leader for loading? So both rows of sprocket holes engage in the cog.

I want the absolutely massive limited two volume edition that comes in a crate together with the special Tadao Ando designed stand, knowing full well that in ten years time it will be worth more.

They have it on display in the Amsterdam Taschen store and just even a slight glance already makes me nurse a semi.

I do. Makes it easier. And I always use a leader to test my fixer, which is an added bonus.

On the topic of books, does anyone have "The Art of Photography" by Bruce Barnbaum? how helpful is it or is it more of just something I should get from a library and read it once

I just use the leader, advance it once before I close it so that both holes are engaged, make sure it's tight and go, never really had a problem with it and I would assume you save a frame of film.

You could do that but depending on how much snip off you can lose a frame and you will definitely lose some cool points.

I don't know, he posted something on facebook like two weeks ago where he said he did his first succesfull self develop, but he was still rinsing. I'm wondering how that turned out...

The only local photo lab charges $12 for C-41 and $18 for E-6 which doesn't include any scans or prints (addl $10 for scans to disc... Per roll). I can get $10 for C-41 and $13 for E-6 with scans included online.

Zach, isn't Ilfosol a high-acutance developer? Doesn't really sound like it's optimal for HP5 lol.

People use it all the time @ 400, produces really smooth negatives, you just cant push with it.
