My wedding is coming up on 09/01/2012 in Bellevue, WA. There are some things I'm going to need help with the day of, and I'm looking to hire a couple of hands. The duties would be to take down chairs after the ceremony (ceremony is in a park) and put them in a truck and deliver them to a building about 1/2 mile away. In addition-- picking up lots of ice for the cocktail hour and bringing it to the reception area and doing some set-up.
I'm thinking anywhere from 2-8 hours-- depending on what people want to be paid. I would either just do two hours (chair take down and reception set-up) or 8 and have you basically be my bitch for the day putting up decorations, etc. The plus would be that when you're not working there is free booze and it's on the lake so you can go swimming and stuff-- as long as you're not an obnoxious alcoholic.
Let me know if you're interested and willing-- this is the Saturday of labor day weekend. Having your own pickup- or something that can haul chairs would be a plus.
