I don't really pay attention to much Football history. I know it existed but, the clubs are different from when they were back then. They may still have similar principals but, it's 2012 man. Not the 1900's. That's the way I see it.
Saying I don't know how Football works is a bit harsh don't you think? Sure clubs consider League position the most important but, doesn't every team really milk winning the Champions league title? I've seen it all over Chelsea and other clubs in the past. As for league titles. I don't know prior to this year but, I haven't seen City really milking it the same way. Could it be because winning the Champions league, with arguably the best of the best teams in Europe is more important from a morale stand point? I personally think so.
On a different note. After watching a few replays... Ivanovic should have only been given a Yellow, Torres still should have been sent off for Stephen Taylor style acting, and Chicarito was still off sides. So, yeah, Di Matteo said it right. Chelsea basically got screwed by poor reffing.
