If you want more fantasy,
eragon series, really entertaining, pretty easy to read
Pendragon is entertaining, but sorta elementary
Bartimaeus trilogy is one of my favorite fantasy series
Lord of the Rings, really, amazingly good, but if you're going to read them, read the hobbit first, and take note that they read like epics, because they are. He uses weird word choice and syntax, and you need to think about a lot of the events on a different scales to appreciate them fully.
Finch so cool, very unique writing style, somewhat difficult to read because the whole book is written in sentence fragments, just like the narrator's unedited stream of thoughts.
SCI-FI
Sci-fi is like fantasy, but better, I always find many fantasy books oriented towards 15 years and under, but Sci-fi has many similar elements but with more mature writing styles
The Enders game books, There are basically two series, the main series, and the Shadow series. The two that are most worth reading are Enders Game and Speaker for the dead, Truly my two favorite books
Childhoods End, Arthur C. Clarke, SO FRIGGIN COOL
Hunger Games, only read the first one, I know you won't, but I warned you!
Classics
The Giver, Read it, it's like 150 pages, and it's amazing
Hard times, its hard to read, but the plot structure is beautiful.
The Book Thief, really really good, I cried
And Dean Koontz has great stuff, but some of it is sorta hit or miss, go for the first 4 odd thomas books, sole survivor, life expectancy, hideaway, and voice of the night
and Michael Chricton is good too!
