Replying to Ski bum and jobs around Mt.Hood?

As the title describe's, I'm looking for some work. I currently live in Norway, but I'm ready to just give up my life here and live as a ski bum in the states. Start out by renting a condo and when I'm financialy stable, maybe buy a place? If it doesn't work out, I'll just head on back home. So, I'm basically wondering if this is possible? I've tred to look around a bit online, but haven't been able to find something. Anyone know if there is any job opportunities at Mt. Hood right now? As a lifty or something. Haven't really decided on Mt.Hood yet either, but the year around season is dope. Some resorts in Colorado are also very tempting. The whole ski bum scene, is it possible? Anyone that have had some experience just giving up they're normal lives and live near a ski resort, then work on the side as a lifty or anything related? Thoughts, experiences and comments are mostly appreciated. Thanks!
