Replying to Working/Instructing in New Zealand

hey so i am a PSIA level 1 instructor in the US.  i'm beginning to think ahead about what i'll be doing next summer and i've been thinking a lot about trying to work down in New Zealand for their winter.  does anyone have any experience working there?  i'd like to instruct but have heard that most resorts require a level 2 or 3 cert.  also, what about work visas?  are they hard to obtain?  any info at all would be greatly appreciated.  if i were to go i probably wouldn't have a car so info on commuting/housing would also be helpful.  thanks.  +k
