Looking to get into smoking

Look, I know this is a stupid thread and all, haters gonna hate, whatever. I'm looking to start occasionally smoke weed. Yeah, I'm a badass, get over it. I have a few friends that smoke so I wanna do it occasionally do it with them. I was thinking of just buying a cheap little metal pipe and a grinder. Anything else I need to get started? I don't really know where to get weed but I'll check around. Also, what's it gonna be like my first time? Am I gonna cough like a bitch? Really I'm just looking for some helpful tips to get started. Don't hate. +k for helpful answers and tips inb4 badass meme

This just came up in My Threads and I have something I would like to add.
As of yesterday I will no longer be indulging in the sweet mary jane. My opinion on it has not changed and all I have to say is keep it in moderation, I got to a point where me and my brother both did nothing but get high. Wake up in the morning, our objective was to be stoned all day. He just got kicked out of my house and I either had the option to quit or move out. I'm not blaming weed, but just remember to be smart about it. I let my habits and the fact that I liked to be stoned get in the way of more important things in my life, and I fucked some stuff up. Gonna be a while before my parents and others can trust me again.

14 is too young for weed. I started when I was 15, but I wish I had waited more. I'm 17 now, and I would much rather have started now.

And to everyone who says weed makes you lazy, no it doesn't. You do. I have two jobs and an internship. I wouldn't say I'm lazy, and I smoke everyday.

14 is the perfect age. i was 13 when i started, but i was almost 14. that way you get the whole "hey guys i smoke weed" thing out young, and you dont end up spending all of your time on ns hoping that one person realizes your quest for trollship.

I have to say, I just got caught and have realized that smoking weed and doing nothing is lame as fuck in comparison to actually doing something notable sober. I'm excited for sobriety actually.

I'm in the same boat! This is the 5nth day I've been sober, and the longest I've gone without smoking in over a year.I never thought my perspective would change on mj so much but now I realize I wasted a lot of time and money. I don't have anything against it still I just have realized I have a lot more better/more productive things to do than sit around and blaze all day.

I'm completely aware that I'm gonna start again. Anyways, it's not like I was smoking a ton, just once or twice a week, but if I hadn't been caught I probably would've ended up smoking basically everyday this summer, and I'm glad I'm going to be able to focus on making sober memories rather than random bullshit while high.

also the money thing is nice. I have a minuscule tolerance and don't smoke that much but it's nice to have more money for yourself and less for weed. I'm with you though; nothing against it I'm just glad I'm not gonna be smoking for a while.

I've been smoking weed for about two and a half years now, and I've never actually had to buy it myself.  Most of the time I just chipped in 5 bucks, or bought the food.  If you have good friends that smoke then you should be set.

And you should really be careful with how much you do it.  Nobody starts smoking weed with the intention of being high 24/7, I can guarantee you most people who start say they're gonna do it just every once in awhile.  Every once in awhile turns into a couple times a week, and then everyday, pretty easily.

This isn't a legitimate vaporizer in the sense that it heats and creates vapor, it's still smoke, but you just pack your herbal blend in one side and click the little button and voila, phat rips. I got one for riding this year and it's sooo easy and efficient. Pack one on the chair, click and enjoy.

I would just by papers if I were you much mor comvinient and you don't look worthless to your parents because you payed a bunch of money for a peice, plus rolling doobies is fun once you get the hang of it

It's not that hard just to smoke once a week, that's what I do tops, usually once every two weeks, Im not a pot head but I do enjoy it, but I also like doing productive stuff sober. You just have to find a good balance, such once every week or two. Weeds not addictive

i do it occasionly with friends. i have a glass peice in the shape of a shark. its cool bought it for 15 bucks in mexico i watched them make it it was worth it. its not a hobbie just an enjoyment.

i can only smoke on weekends because i go to boarding school. But i will say that over vacation my friend and i were high for 10 days straight, yea i know its not really a good thing, but we also did things while we were high. It is possible to get high and go do productive stuff.
Do i recommend smoking as much as we do? No i really dont.
but you can be productive while high.

Yea it's really all up to the person. I mean I used to pretty much stay high from when I woke up until I went to sleep, and still went about being semi-productive in my daily life. I just feel it's a lot easier when your stoned to be ok with sitting on your ass and not really accomplishing anything.

I smoke pretty much every day, and I'm not lazy. I was on the honor roll in high school and took AP classes. I live a healthy, active lifestyle. I have friends that are pretty into running, so sometimes I go run like 7 or 8 miles with them, and can keep up fine. I always hate it when I smoke with someone, and they just want to sit around and do nothing or eat, because it's stupid and a waste of time. When I smoke, I go mountain biking or hiking in the summer, ski in the winter. A lot of lazy people are attracted to smoking because it makes their laziness more fun, but weed itself is not what causes them to sit around and do nothing with their life. They were already on that path before they started smoking.

Honestly i would say try it with your buds, see how you like it and go from there. Dont go spend a bunch of money on something you may not even enjoy. For me the enjoyment from getting high wore off after high school.
