Looking to get into smoking

Look, I know this is a stupid thread and all, haters gonna hate, whatever. I'm looking to start occasionally smoke weed. Yeah, I'm a badass, get over it. I have a few friends that smoke so I wanna do it occasionally do it with them. I was thinking of just buying a cheap little metal pipe and a grinder. Anything else I need to get started? I don't really know where to get weed but I'll check around. Also, what's it gonna be like my first time? Am I gonna cough like a bitch? Really I'm just looking for some helpful tips to get started. Don't hate. +k for helpful answers and tips inb4 badass meme

Don't buy a pipe just Get some papers. If the popo catch you with resin in your piece you're fucked but if the see you have papers they can't do anything about it.

Those grinders just waste the weed. It is really pretty simple to pack a hit without one. Get yourself a bong and give it a good hiding place.

Just do it. If its not fun (which it isn't for many people) then don't do it again. Just get a 10 dollar bowl and 10 dollar bag of weed and sit back, relax throw on some music and just chill. I would highly (no pun intended) recomend not getting into it and doing it too much or making it habitual, which is easy because it not physically addictive.

first of all, don't buy a pipe, no need, your best bet is to just smoke single skin joints, or kingskins if you can roll them, or just buy in with your friends and let them roll, smoking bongs/pipes/shottys/barrels will only result in your coughing a load if you don't smoke rollies/cigarettes as your tolerance for smoking will be so low, so the chances are you will be coughing a lot.

In the uk, not many people smoke using bongs etc, skinning up takes a bit more time, but it is a lot more efficient way of smoking , and you don't have to bust a third/half a gram in a couple of shots in a bong, just learn to roll joints, but the best advice i can give you is pace your self on it, as silly as it sounds, your don't want to be on a whitey on your first time smoking it.

umm... please explain to me how a moderately priced bong isn't worth it.

but OP, just tell your friends you wanna smoke. chances are they will be super stoked on it and will definitely help you out your first few times. dont worry yourself with rolling yet. if you want to get into on your own, get a pipe first. you'll know then how much herbage you're going to need to get the high that you want. then you can take that knowledge and with 15 minuters of youtube and 10 minutes of some trial and error, you'll be a decent roller. if you really do end up liking it (its pretty easy to c:), go buy some more pieces. it's great fun to smoke socially and i have a great amount of faith that you'll enjoy it.

PS- if you "don't get high" your first time, give it another shot. i know a few people that have had this happen

Just got out of HS. Said i would never smoke my whole life. Lived in a house with 5 other guys. Smoked once, nothing happened. Smoked everyday for 5 months after that. Ran out of money. Moved out 2 months prior to the end of the lease. Living with my parents (which isnt bad) and now i smoke once a week.


I really wanted you to read my elaborate story of my smoking career though. Oh well. If you have any questions, concerns, comments, second thoughts just ask.

its an efficient way of smoking it when you start smoking, the only person i know who doesn't smoke joint is a bloke at work who has smoked it for the past 10 years daily, i highly doubt this kid is going to want to smoke half his weed in one hit of a bong, think.

first of all, this thread is just perfect, and i'm surprising my self by offering advice instead of chuckling and moving on, but i've got some so there.

second, by a bubbler, they're the size of a pipe and they're fucking awesome. if someone has a bong, great, use it, you'll get high as fuck and you're 15 so you don't have anything to worry about. you probably have some pretty serious laughs and funny stories ahead of you over the next couple years. i can only do the occasional joint anymore, being high is not the same as it used to be, but in highschool/first year, it was seriously the bees knees. so many fun times. not many girls, but a lot of fun times.

yeah you can, but how many rips do you get on it? i would rather have a joint then a 3/4 rips on a bong, and bongs are expensive as well, and aren't the easiest things to carry round, unless your smoking it at home.

you get way more high off less weed with a bong, it's a fact. they're also not that expensive, and not that hard to carry around in a backpack. they just get you fucked. if you like being fucked, punch a few bowls in a bong. if you like getting chilled the fuck out, smoke joints. and now some stoner's gonna say "what are you talking about, i take 3 bong tokes and get soooo chill," but i'm talking to the people who haven't smoked every day for at least a couple years.

Maybe i shouldn't of put such an input in when i've never actually had a hit of a real bong, just make shift shottys, but i have to say, the first time i ever smoked weed, we put like a near on an 8th of skunk in a shisha (we were 15), it had to be one of the best/funniest nights of my life haha, still laugh about it now when i talk about it, after you smoke up, and you have gone home, have a good wank, then watch lord of the rings two towers when the elves arrive or return of the king when rohan arrive at minis tirth, best way to end off a good smoke session hahaha.

weed is thte most over rated drug ever. Its ok once and a while, its a huge waste of money when you get into it more. I wish i didn't smoke in high school/early college, would have way more money. Plus a good 80% of the people you deal with are pretty big pieces of shit overall. Lot of sketches. Dont start something that just isnt really a good thing

well although i disagree with your first statement whole-heartedly, some of what you say is true. sure, not smoking weed will save you money, no shit. but if 80% of the people you deal with are pieces of shit, you're dealing with the wrong people. theres no reason to buy weed from sketchy people when there are tons of good dealers out there. at least in my experience, I have always been able to buy from someone I trust and it's never "sketchy".

So i see what you're saying, but you make it sound a lot worse than it is.

But, OP. if you are 14, chill out for a bit. ride bikes with your friends or some shit. wait till you're older to mess more with drugs and alcohol. seriously, it'll be worth the wait. I only say that because most of the people who I know who started burning early highschool didn't really go anywhere. I know thats a generalization and a big stereotype but its sorta true. if you do choose to smoke, keep it casual and not a habit. just bum from friends (be sure to pitch money) but buying a piece and a grinder will make it pretty damn hard to not be tempted all the time.

I personally think weed is great, but you have to moderate yourself. I used to blaze 5 or more days a week and that's no good for you at all. you get nothing accomplished and you just kind of sit there like a derp wasting time. that's no way to live.

And if you don't smoke a lot, it shouldn't cost much. everyone at my school who deals sells is for 10 a beano and it's always good to fantastic chron, so I don't use it up very quick. i have yet to buy shitty weed at my school but that's just me.

overall it's not a good thing to get in to, but I like having it every now and then to just chill out.

ALSO. the most overrated drug is definately alchohol. drinking is fun sometimes but I really only enjoy it about less than half the time.

No wonder I thought the grinder is a waste. I did not get the special kief surprise. It is my experience Bongs are very efficient because you can pack one hitters all day!! Hiding them, I agree is tough. Notice I said find a good hiding spot. Smoking under your parents roof is going tough to pull off no matter how you smoke.

I hate drinking and I have no intention of doing it. Getting drunk is fucking stupid. Got drunk with a few friends, had way to much, passed out in the street and puked all over, woke up in the hospital and I was freaking out. Thank god I didn't have to get my stomach pumped. Fuck that shit. I just want to smoke weed occasionally, like a few times a month, just to chill the fuck put with friends. I also want to get a vape when I have the money
