Mega millions is that high apparently, i for one will be going to get myself a ticket. A few weeks ago, i got two fortunes in one fortune cookie that said "There are riches headed your way" and "Financial prosperity is coming your way" so i figured i might as well get one right? inb4 kids not old enough to play.

I'm assuming they keep an electronic record of what numbers are given out so they know instantly if someone won and don't just have to wait and see if anyone comes forward, right?

^I'd assume that's the case. However most news agencies reported the wrong numbers as winning numbers (2-4-... instead of ...-2-4)

I snagged one at the bowling alley. Shockingly didn't win anything. Oh well.


On the plus side I bowled an awesome game left handed. Agreed to go bowling without thinking about the fact that I can't lift heavy object and def can't swing them around with my right arm. I showed those pins who was boss bitches.

Even if each person chose the lump sum which is after federal taxes 347 million, then split three ways is 115.67 million each, after taxes

So 100 million, AFTER TAXES

no joke about playing it though. it was awkward for me to buy the ticket...I ran out during lunch break at work (middle of the night in the ghetto) and barely knew how to ask for the ticket...they were out of cards too, talk about looking like a newb.
