Too much ignorance for my taste around this issue. So I'm prodding the hornets nest on both Unofficial and TGR. The thing is the ONLY way this troll is funny is if you try to do it in a more intelligent fashion. Don't just resort to really stupid tactics, it has to be trolling through eloquent points.

Maybe it isn't even trolling, just trying to engage people in discussions.... but same dif.

i usually stay out of discussions on unofficial, but i like the articles and videos they put out, and the rate they put them out.

im also a squaw and alpine local and those mountains are in the unofficial network.

it kinda has more of a locals feel to it. compared to newschoolers where everyone is from around the entire world, people on unofficial tend to ski at the featured mountains on their website.

but long story short, the conversations are pretty wack anyways

It's hard as shit to get people on unofficalnetworks/tgr to buy it. BECAUSE: most of them are 30-50 yr old powder hound skiers who probs have a day job and could care less what a seemingly 15yr old person says. idk

that was the worst thing i have ever watched. i really hope that plane would have crashed with all of them on it.

its not a fucking ski video.

its the second time lesh made a video of him and his "crew" acting gangster, defacing property. and being just total assholes.

the skiing part of the video was great the rest was just disgusting.

I frequent Unofficial Networks. They do some great local stuff, all the guys send it, and generally they just put out a lot of entertaining content in areas the I ski a lot. I'll admit some of their shit regarding park skiing pisses me off, but this FD video is something that's just hard to defend. TBH I wish they would just stay away from park skiing all together instead of constantly criticizing it.

Drifting on an open road with oncoming traffic and shooting a gun out of the window of a moving car are fucking stupid and irresponsible. There's no way around that. Especially the way he looks away, closes his eyes, and winces when he shoots the gun. Real thug right there.

Drinking and then getting into a plane? Could have been staged. If not, fucking moronic.

I get the whole "It's a joke, because they're not actually hood-ass-motha-fuckas" thing, but I think this is taking it a step too far.

i just think the gun thing is way to far, I try to defend my rights and even their rights to be able to have a firearm, but damn this movie is an anti gun feeding frenzy.



besides that it isnt all that bad, i can see the message they are trying to make but they went way to far with the guns.

This thread should now be about how dumb that first drop video was. not in a sense that "OMG they're sooo irresponsible!" but mainly because that first drop is trying way too hard to be accepted by the ski community.

The only thing I don't like about Unofficial is that whenever they post something controversial or somewhat upsetting, the author will always post as anonymous or a fake name. No one there has the balls to stand up and take the credit/heat for a post unless they think they'll get only good props for it.

I don't so much troll unofficial as regularly let their contributors know that they suck ass.

That site used to be great, now its a few good articles from the squaw guys and a whole mass of shit from the newbies. They even let people hide behind aliases when they post their worthless crap.
