Hey guys, so my friend asked me to shoot a simple video of him singing this cover. I was thinking we were gonna make a full edit with a bunch of cuts and different shots, but he just wanted one shot. so after several takes, we finally got a clean run through. My arm was shaking so bad from the weight of the glidecam, but i thinks its still pretty smooth haha. Let me know what you guys think filming wise, i tried to make the video part as interesting as possible while only using one shot. I didn't do the sound.

T2i + 17-40L + Glidecam 2000 pro

Also, if you like it, please share Joel's music! He's become pretty popular here (grove city college). I think he's got a lot of talent, and a chance at making it someday. i'll put more links in for his other youtube videos.

Tripod would've been better imo but pretty sick nonetheless.
You should have used and external mic to clear the sound up a bit.

1) ya dude i would have, but i guess he was looking at ideas on youtube and really wanted me to move around and stuff. i was like "ok man, whatever you want, its ur video"

2) we actually did use an external mic, a really nice one. it was borrowed from the school and my friends knew how to use it from ther video production class. but for some reason it sounded really bad, and my internal mic sounded soooo good (comparatively). i ended up mixing the 2 tracks together and playing with the gain and stuff (i have little to no audio knowledge, just played with stuff til it sounded good) to make the final sound. i think its sounds great compared to what it first was and what i was able to produce with my limited knowledge.
