Video Camera

well i am on a tight budget now after purchasing my scrath fs and the scratch bindings, but i am looking for a good video camera that is at a reasonable price, if anybody out there could put in a little info it would help greatly

I got a good JVC miniDV camera with all the good stuff like editing capabilities and night view for only about $450.


and more, much more than this, I did it my way

alright thanks i'll look in to that, lmao, thank the lord they figured out to make video cams into minis and small ones now just think if we all had to ski with the big things we had back in the day.

Yea, DV allows you to quickly transfer through Firewire, in some cases USB 2. Both are fast.

use firewire to upload its faster

the tapes can be kind of expensive. but not too bad. and i got a sony dcr trv 19. i got it for like 400 dollars. its nice because its small and can fit in cargo pockets and crap. its got all the regular features like night shot, steady cam. ect. anyway, it works for me so im good

Go check out the new panasonic 3ccd cameras. They are the most affordable cameras for consumers and they've got the best quality. its worth looking into if you haven't got the dosh to go for other 3ccd cameras by canon or sony.

o and for like a hundered more bucks you can get a sony dvr trv 22 witch is like the 19 but it has a memory card so you can take pitures and it also has some added fetures, and for a hundered more dollars on top of that you can get the 33, but don't get that, its not that much better and you can get a better camera for that much

nope, firewire transfers at 400mbps while usb 2.0 does it at 480mbps. It was created afterwards to top firewires performace

Dont look into the new panasonic 3ccd, It is just a marketing ploy, they are just using it to make it sound better when in all reality the actual ccd's are not as good as most. Thus making some of the top of the line single ccd camcorders have a lot higher quality than those new 3 ccds. Now I'm not sayign they are all bad but just make sure you do a little bit of research into them before you buy it.

i had the same situation so i got the sony dcr-trv19 its a decent camera, good film quality and it does everything i need it to, it used to retail for like 600 brand new i got mine on ebay for like 400, whatever you get though ebay is the way to go

hey, thanks for the offer on the cam but right now i am just looking through for the best one, and thanks a ton for your opioions guys i really apreciate all the help i got from you guys. I am looking to make a site for me and my buds some day soon here with video clips and all that good stuff, thanks again.
