I have a T3i and for my videos i usually use 720p 60fps but I filmed a little on 1080p 24fps but never 30fps. Is there really a difference between 24fps and 30fps while filming action shots?

30p just looks a bit smoother. some people like 30 more than 24 for action sports because of that, but i pretty much always prefer 24 over 30

For shooting action sports, I always do 60p (luckily I have the ability for 1080p60 :D) then you have the opportunity to slow the shot down and run a higher shutter speed. In the end, export it 24p and you avoid annoying 60p motion and replace it with beautiful film motion.

Thanks! but for some reason when i shot in 60 it looked way better than 24, like 24 was kinda blurry compared to 60. But maybe I just exported the 1080 clips wrong? Im still kinda new with DSLRs

well blur will have more to do with your shutter speed.
24 is definitely noticeably more choppy than 60 though. i also prefer to shoot action sports in 60 instead of 24 or 30, more options

I shoot 720p 60fps. and I export at 30fps. I prefer this over the 24fps unless I am really trying to tell a story with my videos. The 30fps just looks a little bit cleaner when playing back, the 24fps can be a little too movie esque. However the human eye prefers the little bit of flicker that 24fps gives it.

Keep the camera very steady and that won't happen.
