Replying to Ice Hockey Skates

So I'm playing intramural hockey at my university this semester. I'm a good skater (front, decent backwards, good control) and am lookin for a pair of skates. With all my sports i usually progress pretty fast and push my equipment pretty hard. What skate should I get? Is it like ski boots where I need to go try a bunch on to find one that works?

I've heard great things about Bauer's Vapour series and was looking into that. (Maybe X:2.0?) Just need some guidance here.

I love hockey but and lookin for a pair under the $150 mark. Thanks in advance ++K for helpful answers
