I'm not sure if this point was made quite clear enough.

I'm positive that most of you are out there and filming your videos, and ramming as much awesome footage as is possible together. Everyone always enters close to the deadline, but that deadline is starting to loom.

So for any of the fence sitters, I highly recommend giving this a go. Worst case scenario, you get to take part in one of the most fun contests we've had in a long time.

You've got 9 days left to get it together, so ramp up the efforts and get it done.

REMBER - there are very specific rules, and you must follow these to qualify. They have supplied music that you have to edit to, and if you don't use it your entry will be discarded.

Get it done!

Well, thanks for posting this, because I completely forgot about it!
I'll give it a go, even though I know that I have no chance, but I don't care. Most people have sick jump games, well all I have is a rod 5, backflip, frontflip, and a cork 3.
Whatever, looks like fun.

Dude its not just a skill contest, its also being judged on personal style and overall video composition. So anyone can win it really.

Plus, whats the harm in entering... be a part of history or something like that. :)

Also - even if you're just someone who is a watcher and aren't going to enter maybe mention the opportunity to someone you know who could make it.

Go up in your local park and let one of the athletes know, send a message on FB, shoot an email, pick up the phone... whatever it is.

This is an opportunity not often found, and people have a right to be reminded that the window is closing to jump in.

I know there's some pretty awesome entries that are being prepared, but I want to really be sure that the rest of you give it your go as well.

letting the filmer/editor choose a song that he thinks fits the edit is much better. i havent seen the song list, but im guessing its all rock? they could've just said no profanities in the music

I think they want music that is licensed so they don't get sued. So, they didn't expect people to go out and get their own licensed music cause most people entering probably cant afford that let alone know how to do it.

The music list is pretty lame, but a few okay songs.

Yeah and when they do that, they can blast the bejesus out of hype on the videos through all the Nike channels.

Quebec's language laws are next to impossible to navigate, especially in the contest and promotion front. Nike's legal team tried extremely hard to get this stricken for you guys, but they were unable.
