Man... I just came across this article:


Which is Matt Harvey back in 2004 talking about how the site was busier than ever with 40,000 people visiting in a month.

Nowadays, Newschoolers gets 40,000 individual people visiting every day, and clocks out at 750,000 individual people per month.

Crazy huh? Its nuts to look back at the history of things.

More members doesn't always mean better content and community. The main boards seem way more faceless nowadays, all the close knit community stuff has moved into cults. Weird how the site has changed over the years.

I mean it has to be expected to a certain point. More members make it so less and less people know each other, thus leading to a less tight knit bunch.

But damn, things looked so much different before i joined. What does the future have in mind for ns?

haha yeah, I first stumbled on this site when the logo was this messy grafitti shit and they layout was weird. I don't even think I knew what a forum was. didn't bother to join but checked in here and there. Then you guys upped your game and I was hooked. Good job on that!
