So two days ago I was hitting an concrete ledge tweaked my right knee while slightly under rotating a 4 out(i have video if it helps). I didn't hear a pop and the pain was sharp and created a stretching sensation on the outside back of my knee. I can walk without too much pain, but going down stairs and bending over to pick stuff up off the ground is somewhat painful. The pain always seems to be on the back outside on the knee and also a little bit in my upper calf.
Based on the symptoms I've listed here, I believe to have a class 1 sprain on my PCL. I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance or a second opinion.
If anyone else has had a similar sprain, how long did it take to heal? I have a friend coming up to ski with me for his spring break next Monday and I would like to ride (Jackson Hole).
Also if anyone knows how to preform a lax test and could outline those steps that would be awesome.
Going to see a doctor is pretty much out of the question at the moment. Way to broke and I pretty much know they are going to tell me to stay off it for the rest of the season.
