I don't really think theres anything wrong with only knowing a few songs by him (or any other artist for that matter)... for example "the girls at your school and everyone else". There are plenty of artists where I know only one or two songs by them, and really like those songs. And I'm sure you are the same.

On the other hand, I for sure disagree with people blindly saying he was "inspirational". He was a great artist and song writer, and very high-spirited and religious as well.... But ppl overlook that he had some wild/ wacky beliefs that he lived by that make I'm (IMO) less than inspirational.

well everyone has a different take on the meaning of "listening" to an artist. some people will say they listen to an artist when they only know 3 or 4 songs by them. others wont say that they listen to an artist until theyve sat down and thoroughly listened to every single album of the artist's
