I might add CR Johnson. Groundbreaking, and maybe the best all-around guy before he got hurt. If he had never been injured, I think he would rank with Candide and Tanner right now.
Moseley changed an olympic discipline. That really says something. He was also a great big mountain skier. Watch "The Realm" to see his first AK lines. He absolutely killed it. He had a good argument for being the best in the world about a decade ago, and if he had kept going I think he would have set a new standard. I wish he had continued in the industry.
Daron Rahlves probably won't get much attention here, but he is one of the best big mountain skiers out there. When one factors in that he was one of the best racers in the speed events, and he has a good argument as the best ever to strap skis on his feet. I don't think any of the other racers have come close to Rahlves as a big mountain skier.
pretty sure james bond was the best skier of all time. shootin guys down while hucking off cliffs n shit? nobody has that kind of talent.
