I couldn't believe it when I heard. She totally changed the women's skiing game. Just read an article in the newest Powder, written before the accident, that predicted her winning the next three olympics. She had great things in her future, its so sad that her career has been cut short.
SIP Sarah, you'll be missed
i love the way this is getting so much coverage in the news and on tsn and whatnot. and they're paying her such a beautiful tribute. gives me chills..
once again, im sorry for everyone's loss. even i felt like i lost someone i know, and i've never met her.
Just a reminder, I guess, to cherish every day.
Take nothing and nobody for granted.
Tell your parents how much you appreciate all they've done for you.
Tell your partner/wife/husband/whatever that you love them, every day.
If anything, take it as a reminder to live well, and do good to others.
Do it for Sarah if you like. Or do it because it's the right thing to do.
Because you never know when it could all be snatched away so cruely.
I'm still really down on this, and I never even met her.
