Old armarda poles

anyone had any experince with the old armarda t hall poles that have the big grip tops like these Click for larger image i dont care about the colour but about durability and the grips cause gona be painting and re doing the pole any way, found a set for sale at around 50 bucks worth it ? there in pretty good condition by the looks of it

I have those ones pictures and have loved em. Theyve bent a little (i ski park so youd expect that) the metal is nice and strong. If the pole itself does break you can just by new shafts online for cheep and save the basket/grip. Also the removable grips make the pole easy to cut to your liking. Ive had friends put beer in them as well, kinda fun. I'de say 50 is a little expensive but theyre nice poles.

They will be fine till you land on them. You can get Scott team issue for that price

not fussed about the actual pole just want the grip, im trying to get the price down cause its like and ad sort of thing, looking for around 40 as a max

NVM looks like they don't. Best pole grips ever made, I thought those new grips were only on the cheap poles, their new grips suck ass.

 be hard to find those gips again and i have them and love them!!  A little pricy but if the grips are what your after and the poles like new then thats not bad. They were new a little more. I think I paid 80 bucks for mine?

Nope, I'm afraid not, I was looking on gumtree to see what was about this week and came across them. The eBay market is going crazy now we are in season! I picked up all my bargains ages ago :)

yer man, i had everything but snaped one of my pin poles last friday, landed on it of a rocket rail and just snaped clean where it was bent

I got some a brand new pair of team issue and a smith holt off eBay for £25 in the summer! Well let me know what he says, if he doesn't take your offer of 30 I'll send him some lowballs to swing the decision

exactly what i did, mine came with to baskets, but i lost the pow basket, i never even use the pole that armada gave me since it is to the right length for me and i like that for pow skiing but not park so i dont use them much.

but it is so awesome to just be able to grap a pair of rental poles cut them down and slide my own grips on them.

i used to have two old elan poles i cut down, but one broke so now i rock the one red, and one yellow elan pole set up, but that elan pole has more bends then a dive (id be impressed if anyone gets that analogy).

so yes op they are definitely worth it, i have had the same grips for three years now.

i have never had any new poles, just buy second hand ones for cheap then cut them down and then if they break i give a fuck, these would be the most expensive pair i ever bought

^^this, i just refurbished a pair of old poles with bikehandles and straps and stuff for 10$
8$ for bike grips
2$ for old poles .....

exactly its so much cheaper and u can make them exactly how u want them (length color grips sticker) and i dont even care about them, the only reason i want these poles are for the grips
