Warren miller steals from poorboyz??

so i dont know if anyone else realized this, but this years warren miller film, like theres no tomorrow, had a lot of the same footage as grand bizzare. did warren miller steal this shit? or buy it or something?

I think you mean Warren Miller Entertainment. Warren himself is no longer a part of the production of those movies, hence why they suck and cannot get their own footy.

hahaha i was at the premiere tonight in royal oak michigan. I have to say, I dont think i have seen a worse ski movie in my life. It just dragged on, had no flow. And also, the first like 4 segments were of girls. In general, I could have skied 3/4 of the lines in the movie. It was a great time though, thanks to BCS for putting it on! felt like I was at a world premiere. and thanks to goku for the hookup on tickets

I went to a show in grandrapids and it was the shittiest movie i have seen in a while. It was barely worth the free passes and 2for1 deals to local ski resorts you get when you go. All the shots were of them skiing the most mellow line while going past past sick lines. The only semi entertaining parts were of colby dicking around, the few pbp shots, and a few pillows.

are you fucking serious? i'm gonna get raped for this, but i liked this movie waaay better then weight. whatever you're smoking must be some pretty high quality shit but you're fucking retarted. the lines they do are crazy and not many movies can capture the essence of skiing like they did. you could not ski any of the lines that were in that movie. everyone here just hates the company so all you young uns think its cool to trash talk all the movies WME makes. i hate WME because of what they did to level 1 and stuff but this movie was extremely fun to watch. i'm usually not a hateful guy but "i can ski 3/4 of the lines they did" just was super dumb. thank you for listening, end rant. /mobile ns

As said before.. WME buys segments from the other film companies. Prob helps them stay in business to be fair..

As much hate as WME deserves for the Level 1 suit.. they have a monopoly on ski movies whether people like it or not. Newschool and freeride film companies wish they could get close to WME's level. The only company even close to WME is Matchstick Productions.. and they're still probably a fair bit off.

WME gets so much money from their film tour.. they had like over 12 stops in the UK alone! We're lucky if we get one from the majority of the film companies we all know and love on newschoolers.. And the people who go to the WME shows are those with generally more money than the ski bums and students. Hence WME can keep getting bigger..

i thought this year's movie was pretty good, especially considering the last several years were complete trash. but there were definitely some awesome shots in it this year.

valid point, but the audience that WME captures isn't one that any real skier wants to be a part of. WME is to ski movies what the x-games is to skiing altogether, the general public who only sees what is put in front of their face thinks it is all there is to ski movies, as they think competitions is all there is in skiing

that's not an audience I ever want to be a part of, and I'm actually grateful they exist, because without them how would we actually know what a shitty ski movie is?

your on fucking crack. every fucking line in their movie was flat as shit. literally they would take some dumb bitch to like india and ski on a fucking t bar and do a few flat ass lines. Colby west's segment was also a joke. He is a funny guy, but after his seg in the MSP movie and after his seg in here, its like a discrace to skiing. I actually enjoy'd the backyard seg. Literally, I feel like they threw a bunch of random ass shots together. Now I cant speak for other WME movies because I have not seen them. But this was no where near the level of MSP, Level 1, TGR, or PBP. Im not a park rat, I can respect a quality big mtn movie. The soundtrack was terrible, and there was no flow to the movie. I didn't intend to come in here to hate, but the movie was just flat out bad. Im sorry, but I almost fell asleep during this movie.

only reason i know its not tru is because that is probably bobby brown and he has not throw a dub 10 in chads. I dont think anybody has thrown a dub cork in chads

My favorite part of the whole movie was in Andreas backyard segment where someone was wearing a Level 1 shirt that could be seen perfectly.
I also thought the Yeti thing was kind of funny.

But other than that it was just your typical WME movie
